Crop Selection - An incremental game about breeding potato

Display

The 6 sections on the left side is the "Farm".
Place crops here grow them. Each time it grows, you get 2 potatoes.

The 3 middle machines are the breeders.
It allows you to see the stats / gene and also combine the potato.

The right side are the Market, where you can see the trends, sell and also buy new potato.

Attributes

There are 8 attributes in total

  • 4x Flavours - Sweet/Sour/Spicy/Bitter
  • 3x Nutrients - Carb/Protein/Fiber
  • 1x Growth

The value of the crops is based on the stats. 

Each stats of Flavours increased by the current market value of the flavour. i.e. if the market value of sweet is -2, each level in sweet stats will decrease price by -2.

Each stats of Nutrients increase market value by 3.

Growth determines how fast the potato grow in the farm.

Goals

Currently no victory goal yet, but the eventual goal will be to breed the Ultimate Potato - Max Nutrient (currently is 5, but might increase to 9), and specific Flavour profile.

To make the playtesting easier, I have start the game with 200 gold. The actual game will start with 0.
